Medical Students

The practice has links with several medical schools and medical students occassionally join us for short periods and may be present with the doctor. You will be informed on arrival at the surgery if a medical student is present. If you would like to see the doctor alone, please feel free to say this at the time.

For teaching/training purposes, medical students may require access to medical records. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as all other members of the primary care team. Please inform a member of staff if you have any objections or concerns.

School Pupils

On occasion we may have a 6th year school pupil present with the Doctor.  As part of their application process for medical school they need to undertake work experience.  You will be informed when they are present in the surgery.  If you would like to see the doctor alone, please feel tree to say this at the time.
